Review: Benefit World Famous Neutrals Most Glamorous Nudes Ever

Inside Benefit's Most Glamorous Nudes Ever Eyeshadow Kit £23.50 you get four powder eyeshadows, and two of their Creaseless Cream Eyeshadows, in a range of beautiful and warm rosey/bronzey shades, as well as Tips and Tricks that make it perfect for an eyeshadow beginner.

First things first. The four powder eyeshadows are a bit lack lustre when it comes to their pigmentation so to get a good pay off I need to really go back in and build. They're okay but they certainly aren't as good as say Urban Decay or MAC. They also kick up a lot of dust when you dab your brush so it's best to use a flat brush rather than a fluffy blending brush. This would prevent the colours from mixing together in their pans e.g. the dark brown dust falling in to the light beige pan and so on! I would also say these need to be worn with a primer.

However, I love the shades included, It's Complicated and Kiss Me I'm Tipsy, a beautiful coral shot with gold shimmer and a deep dark satin brown respectively, are the two stand outs for me and look absolutely beautiful paired together. Call My Buff, although a little sheer, is a great satin to even out the tone of your eyelid or highlight and Gilt-y Pleasure is a very pretty metallic gold, perfect for all over the lid or some tear duct highlighting.

Surprisingly, the Creasless Cream Eyeshadows turned out to be my faves with their amazing pigmentation and long-wearing formula. Birthday Suit is a cool toned taupe with glitter and My Two Cents is a straight up metallic bronze. Both are day and night appropriate but My Two Cents is my favourite and makes the perfect long-wearing base for any smokey eye look. I find these apply best with your ring finger because you can pack on the most colour and get a more intense look. Being in mini pots these are also fab for travelling with.

The packaging is obviously verrry cute and whimsical but still feels very sturdy and durable. You can even take the eyeshadows out when your done and use it to store little trinkets which is a really lovely idea. For £23.50 you're getting 6 shades at roughly £4 each, which I think is a pretty good deal!

If you're a die hard eyeshadow fanatic you may be a little disappointed with this palette, in which case I say check out the Creaseless Creams next time you're on the look out for a base. But if you're new to eyeshadows, want some neutral shades that will create a tonne of different looks in different finishes, the Most Glamorous Nudes Ever Eyeshadow Kit would be a great place to start.
