Review: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow in Chocolate

It's been a while since I've obsessed over a product as much as I have the Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade £15.00. I bought the shade Chocolate which has a slightly warmer undertone to it than the other dark shades in the range, Dark Brown and Ebony. There's also Blonde and Auburn.

So basically girls, everything you've heard about this product is true. It's pigmented - incredibly pigmented - but can be sheered out or built up depending on your preference. And it's unbelievably long lasting whilst also acting as a bit of a brow set keeping hairs in place. So yeah, once this stuff is on, it's on for good. It ain't going nowhere until you scrub it off - which means it doubles amazingly as an eye liner too. I love the softer effect this shade gives in comparison to a straight up black. The formula is very soft, almost moussey, so it can be easy to pick up too much on your brush. Top tip is just to dab off the excess onto the back of your hand or a tissue and build up the colour as you go. Also you'll want to spot clean your brush regularly because, just like your gel eye  liners, this can build up on the brush making it stiff and difficult to use.

The way I like to apply this is to go under my eyebrow first to map out the shape, then pull the product upwards and lightly through the front of the brow. For me, this helps to create the most natural finish. I've had this baby less than a week and it's already beaten any other brow product, powder or pencil, that I've ever tried before. Have you tried the DipBrow Pomade? Do you have any other Anastasia Beverly Hills products you'd recommend?

This looks like a great product since it will last ages. My eyebrows are quite full already so this would be great to fill the gaps x

  5. I've been wanting to get this, but I've no way to try before buying, and I'm worried it'll turnout too dark. I actually consided chocolate, but seeing t on you, I'm thinking it's probably too dark for me :s But blonde might turn out to light and too warm to be a flattering shade.

  6. this looks lovely - your brows look amazing, a really good colour match :) A couple weeks ago I bought the Anastasia brow wiz, I'm not sure about it yet, I think I need to get my brows shaped and trimmed first :)

  7. Ah thanks! I was worried about the colour but it blends really well. Ahhh really? I always find when my brows are a bit unruly that my brow products never sit right. Which shade to you have of the brow wiz? xx

  8. Yeah I think Chocolate is the 2nd to darkest? I think Blonde would be good? It looks similar to Omega from MAC and I've seen some Youtubers with dark hair use it and it looks fab! xx

  9. This is true. I think Dark Brown is the coolest shade but even then it's pretty dark! These can be used lightly for softer brow though! xx

  10. It's so nice to see a product that actually lives up to its long lasting claims! I'd definitely try this but maybe if you only have a few gaps a pencil might be easier or quicker xx

  13. Is it like a waxy pencil or dry? I'll look out for it on your blog if you review it. I was tempted to buy it at the same time as this but refrained haha xx

  16. I've not read a bad word about it either yet! The only thing I would say is that it's easy to over do because it's just soooo pigmented, so always makes sure you pat off the excess on the brush! xx
