Silver shoes

Silver shoes. I'm a fan. Especially when they come with a chunky heel and some pretty, dainty straps. So despite the fact that I most definitely did not need any more heels, I now have two pairs. TYPICAL.

The first pair are the ZARA Party Sandal with Swarovski Elements £22.99 (sale). They look beautiful and elegant on - the sparkly element is toned down by the black chunky heel so they're the right balance of dressy and laid-back for me - but SWEET LORD they hurt like there's no tomorrow. I wore these last weekend and I thought my feet had died. I mean, I woke up the next morning with the balls of my feet still feeling numb. I know beauty is pain and all that but these are perhaps a step to far. They'll be reserved for sit down dinner occasions only from now on, I think! They are still beautiful though and an absolute bargain. They've since sold out on the ZARA website, but you should still be able to find them in store. I saw piles of them at the ZARA in Westfield White City a week or two ago.

The second pair are the ASOS Happy Hour Heeled Sandals currently £20.00. I have wanted a pair that have the strap going across the arch of the foot for ages (OK maybe like a week or something) and I loved how these were still quite casual. I was totally imagining them with all white/floral ensembles come summer time and then before I knew it they were in my basket. These are definitely more comfortable than the ZARA pair so I'm thinking these would make a great pair of out out heels. The Happy Hour sandals also come in white, which I am looooving the look of too!

What do y'all think of the silvery/metallic trend for Spring/Summer? Have you picked up any new shoes lately?

I love metallic shoes - it's a great way to make most outfits interesting :o) Xx

  2. Definitely, espeically if it's a monochrome of quite plain outfit - which mine normally are haha! xx

  3. Love the second ones :) Are they as painful as the Zara ones?

  4. I haven't worn them yet but from trying them on A LOT more comfortable! Heels slightly lower and the extra straps definitely help! xx

I really love hearing what you guys think so please leave me a comment and let me know :)
